I love how much of these have musical reasons.
I'm seeing Demi in concert tomorrow!!! Ahhh!!

Reply to this meme by yelling "WORDS" and i will give you five words that remind me of you. then post them in your lj and explain what they mean to you.

1. Demi Lovato is incredible. I can't even imagine dealing with the shit she does and looking as poised as she does. She really didn't truly come into my life until June of 2008. I had known about her because she was going to be in the new Jonas Brothers movie. I had seen her on that stupid As The Bell Rings. But I had never really REALIZED how talented she was. I instantly fell in love with her singing voice. There's just something so.. amazing about it that I can't truly wrap my head around. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it was exactly the kind of vocals I had come to love. She sounded a bit like Hayley Williams and at the time, I was a BIG Hayley fan. The name is a total coincidence. But the more I've paid attention, the more I like. She's this sassy girl with a big voice, a terrible past, and a huge heart for those close to her. She's got this adorable sense of humor. She's basically been the only cd in my car like a year. First Don't Forget, then Here We Go Again. Her songs don't move me to tears or anything like that. They're the kinds of songs that put me in a good mood and to me, those are the ones I'll always love. And recently, the thought of going to her concerts is something that puts this big amile on my face that I can't even begin to wipe away. And I may or may not get one of her lyrics tattooed. Still in the thinking stage. Stupidly, she's like a friend I've never met. She makes me laugh, makes me worry about her, and amazes me every day.

2. The Library. My job! My first and only job so far. As a kid, I loved going to the library because it smelled good and I got to get all the charlie brown comic books. Then as I slowly began to actually be able to read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could read all day and not have any difficulty or attention problems. Although that isn't the case anymore, the library has given me the chance to sit down and read the endings of all kinds of books I know I'll never get a chance to read. I decorated the library this summer, because my boss finally trusts my opinion and took my ideas to heart. The decorations are going to be in a local commercial for the Library Store. Also, I get first dibs at movies I want. And I can talk to people about movies they're checking out. I'm often referred to as the "Movie girl" when someone asks a question about the movies. And many times, patrons will return to me and tell me their opinion. I honestly never want to quit this job.

3. The Starting Line. The first band that I ever coined as my favorite band. The band that first got my toes dipped into the emo/punk genre. The first CD I ever snuck into my brother's room to snatch. My first concert. They were honestly the a lot of firsts when it comes to something I love and appreciate more than life itself. I went two or three years with at least 5 songs of theirs on any mix CD I made. And I made a lot of stupid pointless Mix CDs. I saw them live, in Champaign for the first time with my best friend and (until August 13th) the only person I've ever gone to a concert with. The second and last time I saw them, was at my first and only Warped Tour where I was up against the barricade. It was the day I got their autographs which was one of the most amazing things. They're how my best friend and I really got started talking in what I call the most awful and awkward year of my life. They've been around for nearly every big event in my life and will always be one of my favorite bands.

4. Chicago is place I wish I could be. The traffic is terrible, the people are jerk, but everything I want is there. All my favorite concerts have been there. Where I wish I could go to school is there. All my favorite stores. Some moments I really cherish have happened in that city. I saw Wicked there. Which is my absolute favorite musical. Senior trip was there. I used to go there all the time as a kid for my dad's conferences. If I could, I would be there, living, going to school, working, going to concerts all the time because I don't have to worry about the drive. Everything. There.

5. Disney. My childhood, my adolescence, and my teen years. Disney is SUCH a part of me! My heart is probably shaped like the mickey ears! I mean, where to even start? I watched Disney movies as a kid, religiously. I had this like.. 3-6 months things where I would have this one disney movie that I would fall asleep to for like 3 to 6 months straight. Then one day, I would watch another one, remember how much I loved it, then switch to that one. I went to Disney World a few times as a kid and had the time of my life. Disney World remind me of my grandpa because he went on a bunch of our Disney trips with us. My favorite TV shows as a kid were on Disney. My favorite TV shows now are on Disney! Like Hannah Montana and Sonny? I love those shows! My favorite celebrities are Disney Kids. Or most of them anyway. Some of my favorite movies are Disney movies. For a long time, I wanted to be a part of Pixar as a computer animator. My mom is an avid Disney lover as well. She decorates her classroom in Winnie the Pooh, love Disney World, and has Disney Crocs. (which is sad but whatever) I've loved everything Disney for as long as I can remember. I can't even imagine a world with out Disney. One day, the earth will sprout Mouse ears.

Uh.. I've thought of "Let the future pass." or just simply "Catch me" or "World of chances" (despite feeling creepy) because those are all from my favorite songs by her that she actually had a hand in writing.

Demi is really amazing :) I found her in As the bell rings and it really isn't the same now that they took her out of it.And then like you said about how she was in Camp Rock w/ the Jonas Brothers is where we could see more of her,but not as much as after that movie popped out, then she got all of her own music going and all and I really like how she's not just like everyone else, she definetly has her own style and all.Disney is a life-time of living,it really is what we grew up on,and I don't think our lives would be the same w/o it.I really miss the old movies too that Disney Channel used to play which I noticed this summer they play them on channels near by.I liked that movie "P.U.N.K.S" so I had to get it off eBay cause it's so rare. But that was one of my favorites years ago.And I like "The Thirteenth Year" too.Now I love Hannah Montana!haha. And I love The Jonas Brothers.I will never forget the day I saw them the first time on my sister's tv,it was my lucky day :) :) :) I was about to leave her room, and this screen w/ them on it like underwater was on and it said "And now the premiere of the jonas brothers music video year 3000".And it was the premiere wee!I got a VHS tape and recorded it the next time it came on that day I was so excited!I watched it about a 150 times and I kept rewinding it the first day cause I still couldn't believe it I was in awh.I didn't think I would ever find someone that would amaze me as much as I liked Jesse McCartney.I knew from that day on.But one day I accidently erased over my precious year 3000 music video :( :( I miss it.I hope you get to live in Chicago one day too.
